As the 2023 Legislative Session officially kicks off today, one Iowa organization is already shaping the conversation behind school choice legislation and will play a critical role in pushing for bold, conservative change this year.

Priorities for Iowa, Inc, has launched a six-figure ad campaign featuring Governor Kim Reynolds supporting school choice.

“But money alone isn’t the solution. Parents also need choice. To send their kids to whatever school is best for them” Governor Reynolds says in the Priorities for Iowa advertisement.

The organization represents a strong new push by a center-right organization to educate Iowans on mainstream conservative efforts. Priorities for Iowa, an organization founded and run by former operatives of Governor Reynolds’ team, has strong ties to stakeholders across Iowa.

All eyes are on school choice efforts this year as Governor Reynolds prepares to deliver her annual Condition of the State Address Tuesday night. She has made it no secret that school choice is her number-one priority this year.
