Congresswoman Ashley Hinson announced a major grassroots milestone this week in her bid for the U.S. Senate, officially completing the iconic 99 County Tour. But with the Republican primary rapidly approaching on June 2nd, the campaign isn’t slowing down, immediately launching a new statewide “Fighting for Iowa” blitz to keep the momentum going.
Completing a “Full Grassley” has long been a rite of passage for leaders in Iowa, and Hinson’s finish underscores her commitment to building a dominant grassroots movement to replace retiring Senator Joni Ernst. Since launching her Senate campaign last September, Hinson has been crisscrossing the state to meet with working families, agricultural leaders, and main street business owners, putting thousands of miles on the road to build a coalition to win in November.

After finishing the final leg of the tour, Hinson emphasized that her campaign is just getting started as they shifted into the final stretch before the primary.
“It is my honor to follow in the footsteps of Senator Grassley by carrying on his tradition of visiting all 99 counties in Iowa,” Hinson said. “Since last September, we’ve been putting some serious miles on the mom van to hear directly from Iowans about their priorities – lower healthcare costs, better childcare options, and standing up for Iowa agriculture. We’re just getting started – I look forward to continuing to travel all over our great state and to delivering for all Iowans in the United States Senate.”
Rather than taking a break, the Hinson campaign immediately pivoted today by announcing the “Fighting for Iowa” Tour. This new statewide effort will feature a packed schedule of stops to rally the base, meet with undecided voters, and execute an aggressive get-out-the-vote operation ahead of the June 2nd primary election. Iowans looking to attend a local stop or find an RSVP link can view the full schedule on the campaign’s website.
