Rep. Linda Upmeyer announced today via email to state GOP central committee members that she has thrown her hat in the ring to serve as the Iowa GOP Co-Chair.
Her announcement comes after former Co-Chairman, Dr. Cody Hoefert, announced that he would not seek another term as Co-Chair. In her email, obtained by Iowa Field Report, Upmeyer praises Hoefert’s leadership, work ethic, and many accomplishments in the role.
